Tennis
Tennis will continue this year. Athletes are required to be in Middle School (7th Grade) or higher in order to participate. Practice will take place on Saturday morning at 11:30. It will also take place at Linda Jobe Middle School. .
The Greater Fort Worth Tennis Competition will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 in North Richaland Hills.
Qualifications for Athletes
- A great attitude and smile
- Currently enrolled in the Mansfield ISD
- In good standing with the Mansfield ISD
- At least 8 years of age by April 1, 2012 (Tennis requirement is Middle School or higher)
- Each child must have a current Special Olympics physical on file with the MISD Delegation. These are available on-line or will be provided at the first practice and must be completed by February 27 2012. (One physical is good for all sports and needs to be renewed every three years.)
- Your child must wear tennis shoes
Please note that parents MUST stay at each practice or have a designated ADULT caregiver for your child. Parents must also accompany athletes at all competitions.
